Becoming a Freemason is easier than you might think.
If you are interested in becoming a Freemason the process of joining is really quite straight forward. The first thing we recommend you do is talk with someone you know who is already a Freemason, this could be a member of your family, a friend or a work colleague. They will be happy to discuss freemasonry with you, answer your questions and obtain information for you.
If you are local to Henley-in-Arden, you can get in touch with De Montfort lodge for advice about becoming a Freemason. We’d be delighted to meet up with you socially for an informal chat about Freemasonry and get to know each other. There are some basic criteria you'll need satisfy in order to become a Freemason, but we'll discuss those with you when we meet up.
If you live in Warwickshire you can contact the Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire, the governing body for the region. The Provincial Grand Lodge Secretary will be able to direct you to a lodge near to you and supply you with information about Freemasonry and how to become a member.
The national Governing body for Freemasonry in England and Wales is the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) they have a very informative web site which should answer your questions about Freemasonry. They oversee Freemasonry at home and have links to other Freemasonry organisations around the world.
